By accessing or using Mecasty ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service.

Mecasty provides an AI-powered platform that converts natural language descriptions into CAD geometry using an Intermediate Geometry Schema (IGS), which can be exported as SolidWorks VBA macros. The Service includes:

• AI-powered natural language to CAD geometry generation
• 3D visualization and preview of generated models
• Export functionality for SolidWorks VBA macros
• Cloud storage for generated models and project files
• API access for programmatic integration (where available)

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You agree not to use the Service for:

• Generating designs for weapons, hazardous materials, or illegal purposes
• Infringing upon intellectual property rights of others
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
• Circumventing usage limits or security measures
• Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Automated scraping, data mining, or excessive API usage
• Reselling or redistributing access to the Service without authorization
• Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

Your content: You retain all rights to the CAD designs and content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Our content: Mecasty, its logos, the IGS specification, and all software and materials provided by the Service are owned by Mecasty Inc. and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

AI-generated content: We make no claim to the designs you generate using our AI. However, we may use anonymized generation data to improve our models and services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. Generated CAD models should be validated before use in production environments.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MECASTY INC., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of San Francisco County, California.
